Who We Are

The Portage County Young Democrats are the official youth organization representing Young Democrats in Portage County.

Founded in 2012, the Portage County Young Democrats provide meaningful opportunities for young people in Portage County to engage the political process through active participation in activities that support issues and candidates that embody Democratic values at the local, state, and national levels.

Membership in PCYD is open to any individual residing in, employed in, registered to vote in, or attending school in Portage County or an adjacent county.

Any Democrats who has attained their 14th birthday, but has not yet attained their 40th birthday, qualifies for voting membership.
