PORTAGE COUNTY Democratic Party
The Portage County Democratic Party represents the citizens of Portage County, who elect individuals at the precinct level to the Democratic Central Committee.
The organization works to elect to public office the candidates endorsed by the Democratic Party, encourages citizens to participate in our government, and promotes the principles of the Democratic Party.
PORTAGE FEDERATED DEMOCRATIC WOMEN
The Federated Democratic Women's Club of Portage County was organized in 1932 to bring like-minded women into closer relationship with each other and the County Democratic Party, a mission it continues to this day.
The organization hosts several events each year, including a spring gala and winter auction, and seeks through its actions to support the election of honest and efficient administrators who value and advocate for women.
Kent State College Democrats
The Kent State College Democrats is provides a platform for fostering progressive democratic values for students at Kent State University.
Their mission is to promote the philosophy and principles of the Democratic Party to the Kent State University campus community through education and activism.

Ohio Young Democrats
The Ohio Young Democrats is the premier Democratic youth organization in Ohio.
Open to any Democrat who lives or goes to school in the state of Ohio and has not yet reached the age of 40, OYD has thousands of members from every part of the state—from Cleveland to Cincinnati, Bowling Green to St. Clairsville, Dayton to Youngstown, and everywhere in between.
The Portage County Young Democrats are a chartered unit within the Ohio Young Democrats.

Young Democrats of America
The Young Democrats of America (YDA) is the largest youth-led, partisan political organization in the nation.
The organization mobilizes young people under the age of 36 to participate in the electoral process to elect Democrats, influence the ideals of the Democratic Party, advocate for progressive issues, and train the next generation of progressive leaders.

Democratic National Committee
Since 1848, the Democratic National Committee has been the home of the Democratic Party, the oldest continuing party in the United States.
Today, the organization consists of millions of supporters, fighting for progress and working to elect Democrats at the local, state and federal levels.
